Date Log of Stressors/What happened that day? Form of Stress How did you deal with them? Can you change how you deal with them?

Day #1
- Received a low grade on a test
- Got into an argument with a friend
- Eustress and daily hassle
I dealt with the low grade on the test by talking to my teacher about it and asking for extra help. For the argument with my friend, I took some time to cool down and then had a calm conversation with them to resolve the issue.
I could change how I deal with these stressors by seeking help from a tutor or joining a study group to improve my grades. For conflicts with friends, I can learn to communicate my feelings better and work on conflict resolution skills.

Day #2
- Had a lot of homework to complete
- Had a disagreement with a family member
- Daily hassle and eustress
I managed the homework by creating a schedule and breaking down the tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. To deal with the disagreement with a family member, I took some time to reflect on the situation and then had an open and honest conversation with them.
To handle the homework stress better, I could prioritize tasks and avoid procrastination. When it comes to disagreements with family members, I could practice active listening and finding common ground to prevent conflicts from escalating.

Day #3
- Overslept and was late for school
- Had a misunderstanding with a teacher
- Daily hassle and distress
I coped with being late for school by communicating with my teachers and making up for lost time during breaks or after school. For the misunderstanding with the teacher, I clarified the situation with them and took responsibility for my mistakes.
To improve how I handle being late, I could set multiple alarms or go to bed earlier to ensure I wake up on time. For misunderstandings with teachers, I could practice active listening and ask for feedback to avoid future conflicts.

Day #4
- Received a disappointing grade on a project
- Felt overwhelmed with extracurricular activities
- Distress and eustress
I managed the disappointment from the grade by reviewing my work with the teacher and seeking advice on how to improve for the future. To handle the overwhelm from extracurricular activities, I prioritized my commitments and delegated tasks when possible.
To better cope with disappointing grades, I could ask for feedback earlier in the project process to make necessary adjustments. When it comes to feeling overwhelmed, I could learn to say no to additional commitments and practice self-care to prevent burnout.

Day #5
- Forgot about a deadline for a school assignment
- Had a conflict with a classmate during group work
- Daily hassle and distress
I coped with missing the deadline by communicating with my teacher and asking for an extension if possible. To manage the conflict with the classmate, I addressed the issue directly and tried to find a compromise that worked for both of us.
To prevent forgetting deadlines, I could use a planner or set reminders on my phone to stay organized. When it comes to conflicts with classmates, I could practice active listening and compromise to maintain positive relationships.
