Abstract art is a genre of art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of visual reality. Instead, it focuses on the use of shapes, colors, forms, and gestural marks to achieve its desired effect. I am drawn to abstract art because it allows for a greater level of personal interpretation and emotional response from both the artist and the viewer. The lack of constraints in abstract art enables me to explore my creativity and experiment with different techniques and visual elements. Additionally, I find the freedom to express emotions, ideas, and concepts in a non-representational way to be both liberating and intriguing.
