Pacing can impact the tone of a narrative piece of writing because of the different types of writing. For example, if someone were to make an action movie the producer would use pacing to switch a part of their story to the next part. As though someone were to write a biography about someone then the producer would use slow pacing so that the one reading the story can read the details of what is happening and then visualize it and understand what's happening.
