A recipe calls for 1/2 cup of milk for every 3/4 cup of flour how much milk is required for every cup of flour
(1/2)/(3/4) = x / 1
(3/4)x = (1/2)
x = (1/2) / (3/4)
x = (1/2) * (4/3)
x = 4/6 = 2/3
She means you flip 3/4 to 4/3 so you can multiply 1/2 by it and then you solve the problem, it will leave you with 2/3.
That their is recipe of milk of 1/2 of cup of milk for every 3/4 of cup of flour.
Uhh so, I hope this helps:
At first, I did this..
1/2 x 2/1 + 3/4 x 2/1.
1 + 1 1/2 = 2 1/2.
If you did this, your wrong, but its okay because I did it too :)
Well, it might be right, but on the multiple choice I don't see it, but I do see 1 1/2, so I will tell you that I think its C, 1 1/2
(I didn't see a lot of people who actually answered, so I really hope I helped you "Anonymous" :D)
