No, I think the expense had nothing to do with the effort to take the southern colonies back. If the Parliament wanted to cut expenses, would they have gone all out to take the South? There were a lot of Loyalists (Tories) in the South, though.

I really don't know much about the battle of Kettle Creek. It was not a key battle in the war, but of importance to Georgia. I suspect you are right that it's all of the above.

$4 - I question that A was involved in the effort to take the southern colonies. And I don't think the Brits had much contact with Native Americans. I don't think it's "all of the above".
