The length is 8 and a post is placed at each yard giving 7 post in between the corners. Therefore the two sides will be 14 post.
for a width of 6 yards and a post placed at each yard will be 5 post for each width. Therefore the two widths will be 10 post.
Finally, don't forget the four post at the corners.
Therefore 14 post (two lengths) + 10 post (two widths) 4 post (at the corners) equal to 28 post.
