Pls i need help with this newsreport. can you pls tell me if it sounds like it or not and you can also advice me on somethings to make it good.

Headline: The death of King Duncan.

Byline: Victoria Sinec.

Lead paragraph: Duncan, the King of Scotland killed at night in macbeth's castle with a dagger. The criminals are yet to be known.

Explanation: Duncan decides to visit Macbeth in his castle for a feast. At night, while Duncan sleeps, someone comes in his room to kill him. The next morning, the body was found in his bed by Macduff.

Additional information: Macduff announces to everyone in the castle that King Duncan has been killed. When Lady Macbeth heard that the king was dead, she fainted. Macduff in a very angry mood said,''A murderer has broken into God's temple and stolen life out of it''. King Duncan's body was carried to Colmekill to be placed in the tomb of his ancestors, where their bones are kept safe.

  1. Your first sentence needs a verb. Also -- I'd use past tense verbs in the rest of this report.

    Other than that, you seem to have covered the basics.
