2 / (x-1)^3 + 3 / (x-1)^2 + 4 / x-1

Two of us get 4x^2 - 5x + 3 / (x-1)^3

The book gives 4x^2 - 5x + 3 / (x-1)^3

Can anyone help with this one.

  1. Assuming the original question is:
    2 / (x-1)^3 + 3 / (x-1)^2 + 4 / (x-1)
    and the answer is:
    (4x^2 - 5x + 3 ) / (x-1)^3
    That makes three of us and the book with the same answer, congratulations.
