I have collected ssps data and am having trouble taking the data and putting it into a coherent sentence.

I can't paste the chart but here is what I have.

An independent-samples t-test was conducted to compare the length of jail sentence given based on the favorability to an attractive defendant conditions and a unattractive defendant conditions
There was a significant difference in the scores for favorability of a attractive defendant (M=4.28, SD=2.30) and the unattractive defendant (M=3.18, SD= 1.922) conditions; t(277) = 4.346, p =0.00 . These results suggest that the favorability of the attractive defendant is higher…..?

  1. P ≤ .001

"Favorability" is a more awkward and less precise term than shorter and longer.

Jail sentences are significantly shorter for attractive defendants than unattractive defendants (p ≤ .001).
