I chose Marilyn Monroe for my adversity project because she faced many challenges throughout her life, including a difficult childhood, struggles with mental health, and being typecast as a dumb blonde in Hollywood. Despite these obstacles, she persevered and became one of the most iconic actresses of her time. Monroe's resilience and determination in the face of adversity make her a compelling subject for my project.
