A scientist performed an experiment to study how well Ubergrow fertilizer improved the growth of plants. His results are posted below.

Use of Ubergrow Fertilizer
Experiment
Group Amount of Fertilizer
Given (grams) Height of Plant
after 3 Weeks (cm)
A 0 4.1
B 1 6.7
C 2 8.4
D 3 7.3
E 4 5.2
F 5 3.9

According to his experiment results, which of the following conclusions can be drawn?
Ubergrow fertilizer does not affect plant growth.
Giving a plant too much Ubergrow fertilizer can stunt its growth.
Plants given 2 grams of Ubergrow fertilizer grew faster than the other plants.
A.
II and III
B.
I and II
C.
I only
D.
III only

B. I and II

From the results of the experiment, we can conclude that Ubergrow fertilizer does have an effect on plant growth, as the height of the plants increased with the amount of fertilizer given (from group A to group C). However, giving too much fertilizer (group E and F) can have a negative impact on plant growth, as indicated by the decrease in plant height compared to group C (2 grams of fertilizer).
