What are kachinas

Kachinas are spiritual beings in the belief system of the Hopi and other Pueblo tribes of Native Americans. They are seen as intermediaries between the human world and the spirit world, and are believed to have the power to bring blessings, healing, and protection to the people. Kachinas are also represented as masked dancers in ceremonial rituals and are a central element of traditional Hopi religious practices. Each kachina represents a different aspect of nature, such as animals, plants, or celestial bodies, and has its own unique characteristics and powers.
