Fire and Ice: A Mermaid's Journey by Julie Gilbert

1 year later (remember this is the sequel) now this is some one the group almost died but lives and later that day do tricks in the water then everyone discovers they have 299 new magical powers each then tests then after their done the person who died passed out sinks to the bottom but the rest of the group catches her then to the hospital wing

they rush her. The doctors and nurses are shocked by her condition, unable to explain how she survived the near-death experience. As they work to stabilize her, the rest of the group begins to realize the extent of their newfound powers.

Suddenly, the room is filled with a blinding light and the air crackles with energy. The mermaid who had passed out begins to shimmer and her body slowly transforms into pure ice. The group watches in awe as she becomes a magnificent ice sculpture, glowing with an otherworldly light.

Realizing that their friend is in danger, the group springs into action, using their newfound powers to try to melt the ice and bring her back to life. But the ice remains stubbornly solid, resisting all of their efforts.

Desperate, they turn to the oldest and wisest member of their group, a mermaid who has seen many things in her long life. She takes one look at the ice sculpture and nods, understanding what needs to be done.

With a deep breath, she gathers all of her powers and focuses them on the ice, sending a wave of intense heat into the frozen form. Slowly, the ice begins to melt, revealing the mermaid underneath, her eyes fluttering open.

The group erupts into cheers as their friend is brought back from the brink of death. They all embrace, grateful for their powers and the incredible bond that holds them together.

As they leave the hospital wing, the mermaid who was saved looks up at the sky, her eyes shining with a newfound determination. She knows that her journey is far from over, but with her friends by her side and their magical powers to guide them, she is ready to face whatever challenges come their way.
