On this page , brainstorm at least two different ideas for the plot of your myth.

Myths often teaches us a lesson through their central theme. In some myths, we learned a lesson through the characters own experience. In other myths, we learn to listen to how characters respond to challenges or villains( Hercules’s quest). Think about the lesson ( theme) you want your myth to tell, and how you will tell this to your readers.

Character trait: Courage
Theme/lesson: The importance of facing fear and finding bravery within oneself
Conflict+resolution: The protagonist must confront a terrifying monster that has been terrorizing their village. Through their journey, they learn to overcome their fear and find the courage to stand up to the monster, ultimately defeating it and bringing peace to the village.
Character’s new trait: Confidence in their ability to conquer challenges and protect others

Idea 2:

Character trait: Compassion
Theme/lesson: The power of kindness and empathy in overcoming adversity
Conflict+resolution: The protagonist encounters a group of outcasts who are being mistreated by society. Despite facing backlash from their community, the protagonist chooses to show kindness and compassion towards the outcasts, eventually leading to a positive change in the community's attitude towards them.
Character’s new trait: Understanding and acceptance of others, even in the face of judgement or criticism.
