write a poem about something that you value in your life about courage

Your poem should:
1. Develop your theme and stanzas (groups of lines)
Lines do not have to end punctuation every time
Stanzas must be clearly separated with spaces between
Do not number or "bullet" your stanzas

2. Have a logical flow
The reader should be able to follow along easily

3. Use descriptive language
Your words create the mental picture for the reader- be creative
Your poem doesn't have to rhyme

In the depths of my being, courage resides

A flame that burns bright, refusing to hide
It whispers in moments of doubt and fear
Guiding me to push through, to persevere

Like a mighty oak in the midst of a storm
Courage stands tall, unwavering and strong
It gives me the strength to face the unknown
To journey forward, to stand on my own

Courage is the spark that ignites my soul
It empowers me to take on life's toll
To step outside my comfort zone
And embrace the challenges that have grown

In its presence, I find my truest self
The warrior within, ready to delve
Into the depths of uncertainty and strife
With courage as my beacon, guiding my life

So I hold onto this treasure, this precious gift
For with courage, I can conquer any rift
In my heart, it will always reside
My source of strength, my constant guide.
