One difference is the way they ruled. The Greeks had city-states with a lot of independence and didn't have one big ruler over everything. The Romans had an emperor who ruled over everything and had a lot of power. Another difference is their art and architecture. The Greeks loved designing beautiful buildings and statues that showed off the human body. The Romans also liked art and architecture but they focused more on big buildings like colosseums and aqueducts to show how powerful they were.
But even though they were different, the Greek and Roman empires also had some things in common. They both really liked conquering new lands and making their empires bigger. And even though they eventually fell, their ideas and cultures are still really important today.
