In your own words and simple language, briefly summarize the meaning of this next portion of the First Choral Ode:

CHORUS LEADER

Zeus hates an arrogant boasting tongue.

Seeing them march here in a mighty stream,

in all their clanging golden pride,

he hurled his fire and struck the man,

up there, on our battlements, as he began

to scream aloud his victory.

The chorus leader is saying that Zeus does not like it when people boast and show off. He sent fire to strike down a man who was being loud and proud as he entered into battle, showing off his golden armor. This was to teach him humility and not to brag.
