It is highly unlikely to become a licensed psychiatrist at the age of 21. Becoming a psychiatrist requires completing medical school, followed by residency and possibly fellowship training, which can take a total of around 12 years. Most individuals who become psychiatrists are in their late twenties to thirties by the time they complete all their training and become licensed.
