Stories often fall into one of three typical story patterns:

the hero's journey
the coming-of-age story
the fall.

In 3-5 sentences, explain one of these patterns and identify a book or movie that fits the pattern you chose. Be sure to show examples of how your book/movie fits the pattern you chose.

One typical story pattern is the hero's journey, which follows a protagonist as they go on a quest or adventure, face numerous challenges and obstacles, and ultimately undergo personal growth and transformation. An example of a book that fits this pattern is "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. In the story, Harry Potter is chosen to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he discovers his true identity as a wizard and must confront the dark wizard, Voldemort, who murdered his parents. Throughout the series, Harry goes through various trials and tribulations, ultimately emerging as a hero who saves the wizarding world.
