To sort the Participants table by Last Name in ascending alphabetical order in Excel, follow these steps:
1. Click on the cell containing the Last Name column you want to sort.
2. Go to the "Data" tab at the top of the Excel window.
3. Click on the "Sort A to Z" button in the "Sort & Filter" group.
4. A dialog box will appear asking if you want to expand the selection or continue with the current selection. Choose "Expand the selection" to include all the rows in the table.
