Types of pressure measurement

1. Absolute pressure: Measurement of pressure relative to a perfect vacuum.

2. Gauge pressure: Measurement of pressure relative to atmospheric pressure.
3. Differential pressure: Measurement of the difference in pressure between two points.
4. Vapor pressure: Measurement of the pressure exerted by a vapor in equilibrium with its liquid state.
5. Barometric pressure: Measurement of atmospheric pressure using a barometer.
6. Hydrostatic pressure: Measurement of the pressure exerted by a fluid due to its weight in a gravitational field.
7. VacuĆ¼m pressure: Measurement of pressure below atmospheric pressure.
8. Sealed (or sealed gauge) pressure: Measurement of pressure relative to a specific reference pressure.
