What chromosomal and non chromosomal anolaies cause iufd

Some of the chromosomal anomalies that can cause intrauterine fetal demise (IUFD) include:

1. Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome)
2. Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome)
3. Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)
4. Turner syndrome
5. Klinefelter syndrome

Non-chromosomal anomalies that can cause IUFD include:

1. Structural birth defects such as congenital heart defects, neural tube defects, and abdominal wall defects
2. Genetic disorders such as cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease
3. Infections such as cytomegalovirus (CMV), toxoplasmosis, and Zika virus
4. Placental abnormalities such as placental abruption or placenta previa
5. Maternal health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or thyroid disorders.
