The cold, damp walls of the rubber room closing in on them, the sound of rats scurrying around their feet. Sal, Larry, Ash, and Todd were all trapped in this unsettling place, feeling like there was no way out.
As the rats squeaked and ran around, Sal’s anxiety was at an all-time high. He tried to keep it together for his friends, but he couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that washed over him. Larry was pacing back and forth, muttering under his breath, trying to find a way out. Ash was trying to keep calm, but her fear was clearly visible in her eyes. Todd was surprisingly calm, sitting in a corner, observing the rats with a mix of curiosity and fascination.
“We need to find a way out of here,” Larry said, his voice trembling slightly. “We can’t stay trapped in this place.”
Sal nodded, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. “Let’s work together and figure out a plan,” he suggested.
As they searched the room for any possible exit, Todd suddenly spoke up. “I think I have an idea,” he said, pointing to a ventilation duct high up on the wall. “If we can climb up and open that duct, maybe we can escape through there.”
The group quickly agreed and worked together to create a makeshift ladder out of some old furniture in the room. As they climbed up to the duct, the rats scattered, sensing their escape. With a collective effort, they managed to pry open the duct and crawl through, escaping the rubber room once and for all.
Once outside, they took a moment to catch their breath, relief washing over them. They may have escaped the unsettling room filled with rats, but the memory of it would always linger in their minds.
But for now, they were free. And together, they knew they could face whatever challenges came their way.
