Georgia's legislative branch includes the Georgia General Assembly, which is made up of two chambers: the Georgia Senate and the Georgia House of Representatives. The legislative branch also includes the Speaker of the House, the Lieutenant Governor (who serves as President of the Senate), and the members of both chambers who are elected by Georgia citizens to represent them at the state level.
