Here is an original melody I created using the notes I have learned:

To protect my original work, I will say my name at the beginning of the recording to establish ownership.

Reflection:
In creating this melody, I used a combination of the notes I have learned to create a unique sequence of sounds. I decided which pitches to use based on the feeling I wanted to convey in the melody. I chose pitches that complemented each other and created a harmonious sound.

I decided how long to hold each pitch by experimenting with different durations and listening to how it affected the overall flow of the melody. I wanted to create a sense of movement and rhythm in the piece, so I played around with holding certain notes longer or shorter to achieve this.

My favorite part of the melody is the climax towards the middle, where the notes build up to a peak before resolving back to the starting point. It adds a sense of tension and release to the melody, which I find very satisfying to listen to.
