Explain how SouthEast Asia's geography impacts the people who live there. Where do most people live? Why? Where do few people live? Why? How does the geography of that country make trade easier or more difficult?

SouthEast Asia's geography plays a significant role in impacting the people who live there. The majority of the population in SouthEast Asia lives near coastal areas or along rivers, as water sources provide access to transportation, trade routes, and fertile lands for agriculture. This is why most people live in countries like Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Conversely, few people live in the mountainous regions of countries like Laos and Myanmar due to the rough terrain and limited availability of resources. The geography of SouthEast Asia, with its extensive coastlines and strategic location along major trade routes, makes trade easier by allowing for the flow of goods between countries. However, the presence of natural barriers such as mountains and dense forests can sometimes make trade more difficult and time-consuming for inland regions.
