What is the relationship between the number of vertices of a regular polygon and the number of summetry lines of the polygon?
1 answer
Think of a triangle. Three vertices, three symmetry lines (bisector of each angle), square 4 vertices, 4 symmetry lines (two diagonals, two side bisectors. Try that for a pentagon, see if you get five and five.
