Difference between transit and connection

Transit refers to the act of passing through or traveling from one place to another, usually by a mode of transportation such as a bus, train, or plane. It involves moving from one location to another with the intention of reaching a final destination.

Connection, on the other hand, refers to the linking of two or more things together. In the context of travel, a connection refers to the transfer point between two modes of transportation, such as switching from one bus or train to another, or making a layover at an airport to catch a connecting flight. Connections are necessary for continuing a journey to reach the final destination.
