Generally, water evaporates from oceans and falls on oceans as precipitation.

This is known as the water cycle, where water vapor rises into the atmosphere from bodies of water through the process of evaporation. As the water vapor cools and condenses, it forms clouds and eventually falls back to Earth as precipitation in the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail. This precipitation replenishes the Earth's water sources, including rivers, lakes, and groundwater, and continues the cycle of evaporation and precipitation.
