tRNA

tRNA, or transfer RNA, is a type of RNA molecule that is responsible for carrying amino acids to the ribosome during protein synthesis. tRNA molecules have a specific three-dimensional structure that allows them to recognize and bind to a specific amino acid, and also have a three-nucleotide sequence called an anticodon that pairs with the corresponding mRNA codon. This process ensures that the correct amino acid is added to the growing protein chain according to the genetic code.
