Who's idea was library on wheels?

The idea of a library on wheels, also known as a bookmobile, is said to have originated in the United States in the early 20th century. One of the pioneers of the bookmobile was Mary Lemist Titcomb, a librarian in Washington County, Maryland, who in 1905 introduced the first horse-drawn book wagon to serve rural communities. However, the concept of mobile libraries can be traced back even further in history, with some sources indicating that the first bookmobiles were established in the late 19th century in England and Germany.
