For the service-learning activity, I prepared by researching the organization we were working with and understanding their mission and goals. I also attended a training session to learn about the tasks we would be completing and how to best serve the community. During the activity, I made sure to listen to instructions, ask questions when needed, and stay focused on the tasks at hand to make a positive impact.
