In mathematics, the LN function typically refers to the natural logarithm function. The natural logarithm is the logarithm with base "e", where e is approximately equal to 2.71828. The function LN(x) gives the power to which the base e must be raised to obtain the number x. It is denoted as LN(x) = log_e(x), or simply as ln(x).
