Experiment: Click Reverse and observe the electric field as the magnet moves away.

How does changing the direction of the magnet affect the electric field?

When the direction of the magnet is reversed, the electric field also changes direction. As the magnet moves away from the observation point, the electric field lines curve in the opposite direction compared to when the magnet was moving towards the observation point. This change in direction of the electric field is due to the change in the magnetic field produced by the moving magnet, which in turn affects the electric field according to Maxwell's equations.
