My favorite process to travel through in the carbon cycle would be photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, carbon dioxide is taken in by plants, algae, and some bacteria, and converted into organic compounds like glucose. Not only is this process essential for the growth and survival of these organisms, but it also helps to maintain a balance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. As a microscopic carbon atom, I would love to be a part of the incredible transformation from simple inorganic carbon to complex organic molecules that fuel life on Earth.
