Yolanda was successful in convincing her principal to create a girls' soccer team by planning out the steps to have a soccer team. She made a plan on what she needed for a soccer team. First Yolanda had to recruit girls to join the soccer team then, find a teacher who would volunteer to be coach, after that ask the principal to officially add the girls soccer team. She had friends that would help her start a soccer team. Her friend Marcus said that he would have the soccer players on his team ask their girl classmates if they want to join, her other friend Henna said that she can ask her mother who happens to be the principal on what they need to start a soccer team, and Yolanda would ask Mr. Henderson if he would be the coach. Later that week Yolanda had an after school meeting with the principal. The principal was impressed by her work and said that she would approve of the soccer team. In the end everything worked out for her, if she didn't plan out on how to make a soccer team it would be much harder on getting the soccer team approved.
