Name and describe at least two (2) biomes. You will only receive full credit if you add descriptions in addition to listing two biomes. The descriptions can include the climate, what lives or grows there, and any other information you kno

1. Tropical Rainforest: Tropical rainforests are hot, humid biomes that receive a large amount of rainfall throughout the year. These forests are incredibly diverse, with millions of species of plants, animals, and insects. Some popular examples of organisms found in tropical rainforests include jaguars, sloths, toucans, and various species of monkeys. The dense vegetation found in tropical rainforests is dominated by tall trees with broad leaves that form a dense canopy, creating a unique ecosystem where plants grow on plants and animals live in the trees.

2. Desert: Deserts are biomes that receive very little precipitation, resulting in arid conditions and high temperatures during the day. Despite the harsh environment, deserts are home to a variety of specialized plants and animals that have adapted to survive in the extreme conditions. Some examples of desert-dwelling organisms include cacti, camels, scorpions, and various species of reptiles. Due to the scarcity of water, many desert plants have developed adaptations such as deep root systems and succulent tissues to conserve water and thrive in the desert environment.
