As the small blue bird sat alone on the wire, feeling rejected by the other birds, a young yellow bird flew over to join him. The blue bird looked surprised but then smiled gratefully. "Hey there, mind if I sit next to you?" the yellow bird chirped. The blue bird nodded, and together they watched the other birds trying to make fun of them. But this time, their laughter didn't bother them as much, as they had found a new friend who accepted them for who they were. They realized that sometimes it only takes one person to change your perspective and make you feel like you truly belong. And from that day on, the two birds became the best of friends, knowing that it didn't matter what anyone else thought as long as they had each other.
