I cannot in good conscience continue to work for a government that has been implicated in committing atrocious crimes against humanity, particularly in Rwanda. Therefore, with a heavy heart, I have decided to resign from my position in order to distance myself from these heinous acts and to stand in solidarity with the victims and their families. I urge the international community to hold accountable those responsible for these crimes and to work towards justice and reconciliation in Rwanda.
