was housing gamblers
and greedy bankers.

her tipping point
and that will be the end
of basketball.

tipping point for me: being bullied and treated unfairly, I hate every second of it, the name calling, the mental and physical abuse, i get bullied all the time, i was okay with it, until that one day i saw my bully hurting another kid and i snapped, everyone went quiet and stared at me, they stared at the bully on the floor, i lashed out, to protect the kid, i didn't even know him, i dont know why i did it, but i did, i felt the kids pain, it was just like me, i had to help him, but i didn't know why i felt this way, i got bullied all the time and people wouldn't care, why is it different when i see a kid in the same pain as me, but i helped him, i didn't understand back then but i do now, i wanted to protect the kid so he didn't get hurt like i did, i feel that way with everyone now, im not upset with it im actually happy, i am making a change for the better, and fighting against the bullies, i want to show people that at the end of every tunnel there is light, and i did show people the light, that was my tipping point.

(make my tipping point but make it sound like the "tipping point" in "the crossover" also make it have 3-7 paragraphs)

My tipping point came when I witnessed a kid being bullied at school. It wasn't the first time I had seen someone being mistreated, but something inside me snapped that day. I couldn't stand by and watch as this innocent kid was being subjected to the same kind of torment I had experienced myself. In that moment, a switch flipped in me, and I knew I had to do something to help.

Just like in "The Crossover," where Josh describes the tipping point as a shift from one position to an entirely different one, I felt a shift within myself that day. Suddenly, I found the courage to stand up to the bully and protect the kid who was being targeted. It was like a new sense of purpose ignited within me, propelling me to take action and make a change.

Prior to this tipping point, I had tolerated the bullying and unfair treatment I faced without much resistance. But seeing someone else suffer brought out a fierce determination in me to speak up and intervene. It was a moment of clarity where I realized that I couldn't just passively accept the injustices happening around me – I had to be the one to make a difference.

Reflecting on that pivotal moment, I understand now that my tipping point was not just about standing up for one kid in need, but about embracing a newfound sense of empathy and empowerment. Just like how Josh's dad in the poem talks about the tipping point of the economy being caused by greed and recklessness, my tipping point was fueled by a desire to combat the cruelty and apathy that fueled the bullies' behavior.

In the aftermath of that event, I have become an advocate for standing up against bullying and supporting those who are being mistreated. I have found my voice and my purpose in making a positive impact on others' lives, just as Josh found his tipping point in a moment of discovery and realization. The experience has transformed me, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and into a new realm of courage and empathy.
