Social psychology

Social psychology is the scientific study of how people's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by the presence of others. It explores topics such as conformity, persuasion, aggression, intergroup behavior, and social influence. Social psychologists seek to understand how individuals and groups are influenced by social situations and how individuals influence the groups to which they belong. The field of social psychology helps us understand how our social interactions shape our behavior and how we perceive and are perceived by others.
