The Industrial Revolution led to more opportunities for women to work outside the home, which in turn helped to empower women and fuel their desire for equal rights and suffrage. Additionally, women’s involvement in the workforce during the Industrial Revolution helped to show that they were capable of handling responsibilities traditionally reserved for men, further advancing the Women’s Suffrage Movement.
