The Land Lottery system in Georgia distributed the most land. This system, which was implemented from 1805 to 1832, allowed white male citizens over the age of 21 to participate in a lottery for the chance to acquire land in Georgia. This resulted in the distribution of millions of acres of land to individuals through a random drawing process.
