Do freshwater create rain

Freshwater sources, such as rivers, lakes, and streams, do not directly create rain. Rain is formed through the process of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. When water evaporates from bodies of freshwater, it rises into the atmosphere and eventually cools and condenses into clouds. These clouds can then release the water vapor in the form of rain, which falls back to the Earth and replenishes freshwater sources. So while freshwater sources do play a role in the water cycle that can lead to rain, they do not create rain directly.
