Replicates circular chromosomes

Prokaryotic eukaryotic or both

Both prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms can have circular chromosomes. In prokaryotes (such as bacteria), the chromosome is typically a single circular DNA molecule, while in eukaryotes (such as plants and animals), certain organelles like mitochondria and chloroplasts also have circular chromosomes. Additionally, some eukaryotic microorganisms like certain protists and fungi can have circular chromosomes in their nuclei.
