Choose two types of buying decisions and find three advertisements for products or services for each of your chosen types (in the end, you will have a total of six images or videos). You can choose a video commercial or a print advertisement that is a single image.

As you look at the advertisements for each of your categories, answer the following questions for each advertisement:

What need does the product fill? How is this need promoted in the advertisement?
How do the images reflect this message?
Which advertisement do you think best sells the product? Why?
What do these advertisements have in common?
When you have explored all six advertisements, answer the following questions:

What elements do the advertisements in each category have in common?
How do the advertisers create distinct messages based on the type of purchase?
Is one category of advertisement more appealing than the others? Why or why not?
Be sure to include images of or links to the advertisements with your responses. Also, be sure that your responses are free of mechanical errors.

- Focusing on routine needs and practicality in routine buying advertisements.

One category of advertisement is not necessarily more appealing than the other as it depends on the individual's needs and circumstances. Impulse buying advertisements may be more appealing to those seeking instant gratification or excitement, while routine buying advertisements may be more appealing to those prioritizing practicality and everyday necessities.
