The basic steps for moving objects in publisher

1. Open Microsoft Publisher and create a new document or open an existing document that contains the object you want to move.

2. Select the object by clicking on it. If the object is a text box, image, or shape, you can click on its border to select it. If the object is a table, click anywhere inside the table to select it.

3. Once the object is selected, you can move it by clicking and dragging it to the desired location. The object will move with your mouse cursor.

4. If you want to align the object precisely, you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to nudge the object in small increments. Holding the Shift key while using the arrow keys will move the object in larger increments.

5. If the object needs to be resized, you can click and drag one of the resizing handles on the object's border. This will resize the object proportionally. If you want to resize the object without maintaining its proportions, hold the Shift key while dragging a resizing handle.

6. If you need to send the object backward or bring it forward in the layering order, right-click on the object and select "Order" from the context menu. From there, you can choose "Send to Back," "Send Backward," "Bring to Front," or "Bring Forward" to adjust the object's position in relation to other objects on the page.

7. After you have moved the object to the desired location, you can save your document by clicking "File" and then selecting "Save" or "Save As" if you want to save the document with a different name or file format.

Note: The exact steps may vary slightly depending on the version of Microsoft Publisher you are using.
