Think about the R of the social studies G.R.A.P.E.S. concepts. Think about what you learned in the lessons about belief systems in China. In 3-4 sentences, compare 2 of these belief systems. You can choose TWO or more of the following:

Confucianism
Legalism
Taoism/Daoism and traditional Chinese beliefs
You should describe what behaviors or beliefs these systems promote, and then name at least 1 similarity and 1 difference between the principles of these belief systems (your differences should not be that they were founded by different people.) Make sure you explain WHAT MAKES them similar or different.

Confucianism and Legalism were both belief systems in ancient China that aimed to establish order and stability in society, but they had differing approaches. Confucianism promoted moral and ethical behavior, emphasizing the importance of filial piety, respect for authority, and the cultivation of virtues. On the other hand, Legalism focused on strict laws and harsh punishments to maintain social control. A similarity between the two is their recognition of the need for a well-organized society, however, Confucianism advocated for moral cultivation and virtue, while Legalism emphasized strict laws and punishments as the means to achieve social order.
