Some of the Native Americans of Texas were the Comanche, Kiowa, Southern Cheyenne

Some of the Native Americans of Texas were the Comanche, Kiowa, and Southern Cheyenne. The Comanche were a nomadic tribe known for their warrior culture and horseback riding skills. They controlled a large territory in the southern plains, ranging from New Mexico to Oklahoma and Texas. The Kiowa, also known as the "Lords of the Plains," were closely allied with the Comanche and shared many cultural traits. They were skilled hunters and warriors, known for their horsemanship and elaborate religious ceremonies. The Southern Cheyenne were another group of Native Americans in Texas, who lived in the central and southern parts of the state. They were part of the larger Cheyenne nation, which originally inhabited the Great Plains region. Like the Comanche and Kiowa, the Southern Cheyenne relied on hunting and gathering for their livelihood.
