I have a 65% in my class and I am trying to finish with a 75%. I have my summative worth 15% and I got a 100% what’s my mark now ?

To calculate your overall mark, you need to take into account both your current mark and the weight of the summative assessment.

We can calculate your mark as follows:
Current mark = 65%
Weight of summative = 15%
Mark attained on summative = 100%

To incorporate the summative mark, calculate the contribution it makes towards your overall mark:
(65% * 85%) + (100% * 15%)

= (0.65 * 0.85) + (1.00 * 0.15)
= 0.5525 + 0.15
= 0.7025

Therefore, your overall mark now would be approximately 70.25%.
